Coming home

Serena van der Woodsen is back home in New York and looks like one elegant camper. I am not too fond of this look though. The belt distracts a lot. I know its supposed to break the pattern but doesn't work for me. Also, since we do not know if she's wearing it to attend a ball or something or she just wants to play dress up. At times I have to admit in Gossip Girl, they do overdress. I am hoping this isn't one of those times. That said, I love the dress.

I know Leighton must be having an off day but how difficult is it to find a t-shirt and jeans that doesn't say 'I am an extra waiting for a chance and I have bad taste in shoes.' Please, just avoid being near a camera when dressed like this, Meester.

As for the above picture, the less said, the better. Abrams in the show is easily the most annoying character of all. She is also very nasal. Her fashion sense keeps fluctuating, she has good days and then she has days as displayed above. Clogs!It's not a happy exclamation mark!And I know frills are in fashion, but the bag is just a sad excuse for a bag.
