Well I did have a busy two days so I couldn't post my progress but I am no longer 'lazy' when it comes to choosing my clothes. I went shopping to town on Wednesday and even though I didn't buy anything, I scouted a few cool stores and saw some really good home decor stuff. Anyways, so for the shopping trip, I chose a full sleeve printed dress which is very comfortable. I wore it for the first time and I can wear it with leggings but keeping in mind the warm afternoons we are having, I skipped the leggings. I loved the easy print and the mix of the purple bursts with the beige. I added a chunky turquoise blue bracelet and wore my favorite pair of brown leather loafers. A Zara blue messenger bag completed the look. (I am a little proud because I too often resort to the predictable top/jeans, top/trouser/heels combo to look presentable)
Pictures don't come out so good because the camera in my BlackBerry isn't that good. At such times I want an Iphone because Instagram makes crappy pictures look awesome. Color blocking is a rage and I love the trend and I plan to stick to it, even when it's slowly dying now. I found this really cute dress at White Peacock and have already worn it but dying to wear it again. The light cream and the sea green combination looks pretty and I added a chunky pink beaded necklace to it. The dress fits comfortably and is very light and perfect for breezy evenings.
I start work tomorrow so I won't be dressing up because it's a strict work environment but I do plan to have fun with accessories and color schemes. Watch this space for more. Have a lovely weekend!!
P.S- I did change it up a little yesterday but in my laziness I threw the clothes in wash before I could click a picture. I wore very comfortable printed pants from River Island, a printed tshirt from Vero Moda and a colorful bangle. Basic but not predictable. :)
