So, I have decided to become your sartorial Santa Claus. Save you from the little niggles-naggles (This word is probably made up so just play along) of what to wear, where and oooh look so pretty her dress looks, I want type of moments. So a la Frugal Fashionista, I would be helping you find celebrity looks. Only Indian celebrities because the weather, our needs, events all differ. It may not be entirely accurate as I am only one woman with the Internet as my sole friend but can't blame a girl for trying!
Keeping in the mind the festive cheer of December (yay end of this horrid year), I found a sequin dress for you. I like Sophie's look. Simple yet elegant. What is interesting is she hasn't tried to overwhelm the look by adding attention grabbing accessories or shoes. The Alice +Olivia dress is the focus of attention.

I found a sequin dress albeit in a different color and with heavier colors. It works if you want something other than the basic black. The back is a bare net mesh so unless you are daring enough to carry it off. I suggest you skip this. This one is from Mango and although I saw it a year ago in their stores, a lot of online portals still carry it. You can find one here.
Another black sequin dress, although not an exact copy, is this bodycon sequin one. You should head over to Asos if you want different colors and patterns. My credit card is in sincere danger of melting if I ever decide to shop from there.
Black pumps and a black clutch complete your look. Add some solitaire studs or plain silver hoops. Tie your hair up and voila!
