Yes, Yes I am a bad bad blogger and yes I don't blog regularly but hey! I am here. So, now. Its December as mentioned before and even though its really m-ehhh this year, I am thinking since the year was so so so just not cool, we should rebel. Down with the dresses and down with the feminine. I am going all androgynous for the New Year's bash (or whatever it shall be). Not your LBD, or your frills for 2011. Let us man up! One of my recent picks which still languish in my closet are those yellow pants from Vero Moda. They are very comfortable and well they are different. Perfect if you don't want to dress up and just be well put together.
I would pair it with this sequin top from Zara. Well we can't rebel SO much. Some shine and some glam for the cheer that (hopefully) 2012 shall bring us! I love the contrasting shades and I think it will look eclectic and interesting at the same time.
As said many times before, I am waging a constant battle (considering I am jobless) with my wardrobe to dress differently and fun-ly at the same time. And some of my long lost clothes are seeing the light of the day due to the blog. So yay for us! But yeah, displaying my newfound love for lipstick (IT IS SO SO SO SO AWESOME), I would like to end the year with berry lips. Yes, BERRY BERRY BERRY. (Writing in Caps Lock lends legitimacy) I am not sure about gloss but a little swipe might help.
Earlier I would be satisfied with just the dress and not bother about accessories or make up but I have realized a lot goes into a perfect ensemble. I would opt for this clutch from Accessorize. The snake print is in the same color family as the pants and it helps jazz things up.
Since its winter and my lovely lovely boots which collect dust all year round finally can be worn! So yay for boots! I would pair the outfit with these boots from Charles and Keith, who I think are slowly emerging as an classy and elegant shoe store.
I think the outfit is sartorially strong to need any distracting accessories but I would probably pair a brown bib necklace or a chunky cocktail ring. Some kohl and mascara and we are ready to a go-go!!!
P.S- We will decide on an equally rebellious Christmas outfit next week. And yes, we are going in the wrong order but who cares?
